FUNCTIONS
- Proffering legal advice and opinions to the Ministry, its Agencies, and Parastatals;
- Legal representation of the Ministry in courts and tribunals;
- Preparation and vetting of Contract Agreements;
- Drafting and vetting legislation for the Ministry;
- Representation at public Hearings at the National Assembly;
- Vetting and release of Advance Payment Guarantees (APGs);
- Serves as the Freedom of Information (FOI) Desk of the ministry;
- Maintains custody of the ministry's official seal.
